Emico had its beginning in 1973 when its founder
members Lim Beng Huan and Loh Lay Choo started a partnership known as Syarikat
Perniagaan Emico which was involved in the retail business for trophies,
medallions, shields, plaques and signboards. The partnership gradually expanded
its activities to include the manufacturing of its retail products. |
In 1983, during which the partnership was converted into private limited
company, Emico acquired two pieces of industrial land, located in the Bayan
Lepas Industrial area with a total area of 7600 sq. meter on which they
constructed a factory with a built up area of approximately 5600 sq. meter to
venture into full-scale manufacturing.
Throughout the years, Emico has expanded its product range and the company at
present manufactures products in plastic and plastic with combination of other
materials to cater for both domestic and export markets.
We have comprehensive integrated manufacturing facilities which provide
flexibility in manufacturing high quality products of all specifications and
sizes. Besides own range of products, Emico also accepts OEM and contract
manufacturing based on customer's specifications. Emico today has manufacturing
facilities and distribution centers in Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia
and Egypt to provide efficient services to our customers.

Emico predominant activities involve manufacturing and marketing
of awards, trophy components, souvenirs and custom designed promotional items
and OEM productions on plastic based products. From its early beginnings with a
handful of staff, it has grown by leaps and bounds to become the largest
manufacturer of awards and trophy components in Malaysia and the Asean region.

Our trophies range from traditional chromed parts to trendy metal and acrylic
components. We also supply complete trophies and various accessories to support
the awards and trophy industries. We have in stock more than 1500 items for our
dealers to mix and match based

good services by fast deliveries.

We are supported by strong distribution network of more than 300 dealers
throughout the country and many importers worldwide. Since 1973, Emico has
supplied trophies directly and indirectly to most of the sport events held in
South East Asia.
Gifts & Souvenirs

The outstanding track record of Emico is reflected by its success
in winning contracts to supply souvenirs to USA World Cup 1994, Victoria
Commonwealth Games 1994, Kuala Lumpur Commonwealth Games 1998. Beside the
above, we have secured the licensee rights to manufacture and sell all gifts
and souvenirs |
| relating to the Sukan Malaysia VIII 2000 in Penang and also SEA Games in
Vietnam 2002.
